Gardening Classes
Take our 6 week gardening course for FREE when you volunteer an extra ten hours in the garden!
Join any of our gardening courses for free when you volunteer an additional ten hours of time in the garden! Learn as you help out in the indoor and outdoor garden beds with chores like pruning tomatoes, planting seedlings and seeds, enriching the soil, light weeding, pest control, and more! All while under the direction of seasoned gardeners who are eager to teach you and answer your questions!
Classes are available in both Chino Valley and Prescott! Check out our events below to see what is currently available!
The classes usually run about 45 minutes, followed by hands-on practice and learning in the greenhouse and outdoor beds!
If you choose to take the class for free and volunteer ten hours, your hours can be made anytime! People usually like to stay for an hour or so after each class and then come in for a Saturday or two after the class series has ended to finish out their volunteering commitment.
Or, you can choose to opt out of the volunteer time and attend only the class portion for only $99! The proceeds from these sales goes right back to the garden to help purchase materials, seeds, and more!
